Founded by a mom, dad, and daughter, The Shell Cartel™ was born from a lifelong love of North Carolina's Crystal Coast.

What started as family beach days and unforgettable memories grew into something more. We saw trash left behind, holes that endangered wildlife, and living shells taken from the ecosystems they belong to. We realized loving the coast also means protecting it.

Today, we create coastal apparel inspired by the places, wildlife, and adventures that make the shoreline so special. But every design carries a bigger purpose—to inspire people to leave the beach better than they found it.

That mission also inspired the Sunset Steward Crew, a growing community of people who spend just a few minutes before sunset picking up trash, filling holes, flattening sandcastles, and helping make beaches safer for sea turtles, shorebirds, ghost crabs, and other coastal wildlife.
